Concrete maker is going 'green'Daily Journal of Commerce, November 28, 2007
BALTIMORE — A Baltimore manufacturer is going green with its latest concrete repair product.
Ceratech Inc. recently introduced its D.O.T. Line of concrete repair mix, an environmentally friendly concrete repair product that dries quickly to speed up construction cycles.
The D.O.T. Line comes in 58-pound bags and is mixed and placed like traditional concrete. It was developed by combining non-hazardous, green sustainable waste stream materials into a cement-mineral mixture. The product can withstand temperatures of 30 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit and can repair roads and bridges within two hours.
The U.S. Military has used Ceratech’s products for aircraft runway repairs and on roadways in Iraq.
