Military Applications

CERATECH designs, manufactures and supplies high performance “green sustainable” concrete repair and new construction cements for a wide range of applications within the US Military.

CERATECH’s products are currently in use  in Irag and Afghanistan in support of OIF and OEF, providing for rapid repairs to airfields, runways, theater infrastructure and IED mitigation. Our products are specified for The USMC ADR ( Airfield Damage Repair kits) as well as by NAVFAC, in support of the V-22.

CERATECH’s new construction cement, RediMAX™, has been used to dramatically compress project timelines for deliberate installations at the Mountain Warfare Training Center in Bridgeport, California and for “Proof of Concept” projects at USMC Camp Lejeune , North Carolina..

All of CERATECH’s products are corrosion resistant and possess low permeability characteristics making them less susceptible to chloride, sulfate and chemical attack. CERATECH products are highly durable, resisting scaling and damage in freeze thaw environments.

Significantly reduce operational downtime by executing deliberate expedient repairs and or new construction projects in expeditionary contingency environments!

 HIGH TEMPERATURE CONCRETE
FireRok™ is a cementitious, high-early strength concrete that can be used either as a repair product or as a structural concrete. Within 24 - 72 hours of placement, the product can be placed in high temperature environments as high as 1800ºF. It can be blended in small volumes using a conventional drum mixer, and is also available for transit truck applications as well. FireRok™has been designed for areas which are exposed to high temperatures either from an intermittent or a continuous heat source. This would include runway areas exposed to jet blast, HPUs, oven, and metal casting areas.

 HIGH PERFORMANCE GREEN CEMENT (NON-PORTLAND)
RediMAX™ is an ultra high performance structural concrete suitable for most traditional applications. It can be configured and delivered from a batch plant via transit truck, introduced into a transit mixer at your site with super sacks or prepared at an “on-site” batch plant for dump truck delivery projects. Unlike Portland concrete however, RediMAX™ remains in an unreacted state until water and RediMAX™ admixture are introduced. This benefit allows for improved scheduling flexibility, eliminating the possibility of material loss due to the standard 90 minute water to discharge constraint. Low permeability offers enhanced corrosion resistance to reinforcing steel and less susceptibility to chloride, sulfate and chemical attack. RediMAX™ is highly durable, resisting scaling and damage in freeze thaw enviroments.

High Performance Structural Concrete
  • 90 minutes to be discharged, placed and finished (Once activated)
  • Compressive strengths of over 3,000 psi are possible within 6 hours!
  • RediMAX™ can be field adjusted for required slump and working time.
  • Formwork can be stripped in 4 hours
  • Commercial steel construction in only 6 hours from placement with compressive strengths > 3,000 psi.
  • Applicable in ambient temperatures to 0°F without admixtures or supplemental heat

Cold Weather Building Solutions
  • RediMAX-C™ is a versatile, cold weather, high performance structural concrete
  • RediMax-C™ can be effectively placed in ambient temperatures ranging from 0 to 40°F without the need to follow traditional post hydration curing practices.
  • RediMax-C™ is mixed and placed like traditional Portland concrete, has 145 minutes of working time, depending on ambient temperatures, and can be finished via standard concrete finishing practices.
  • RediMax-C™ will achieve compressive strengths of more than 3000 psi within 24 hours following the addition of water.
 ROLLER COMPACTED CONCRETE CONCRETE
CERATECH’s RediMAX™ cement binder technology facilitates “Roller Compacted Concrete” by producing a tighter matrix that resists water intrusion and provides for a smoother, more durable wearing surface. Exceptional flexural and compressive strengths allow for better bridging of sub base voids and imperfections. !Compressive strengths over 3,000 psi in 24 hours!
